Architects Rendition

The vision for a private, Catholic elementary school to serve the children of the White Mountains in northeastern Arizona was conceived by a group of Catholic parents in the Show Low-Pinetop/Lakeside area over 10 years ago. In August 2006, this vision became a reality. St. Anthony School is the only Catholic School in this area. The next closest is in Flagstaff, two and a half hours away.

St. Anthony School is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gallup, but is an independent, self-sustaining entity. It is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of 12 individuals from all walks of life.

The school is located in Navajo County, one of the most majestic counties in Arizona, but also one of the poorest. Through the generosity of Dr. Paddy Garver, a 10-acre site in the City of Show Low was donated to St. Anthony. This donation will help us to secure and construct a permanent location for the school in the near future.
