Vanessa Hitchcock - First Grade Teacher "I teach because I love children and I love learning. I love the outdoors, hiking, reading, and cooking. Most of all I love my husband and daughter. Lily Marie is 2 years old and full of discovery!"

Vanessa graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2001 with a BA in Elementary Education and was on the Dean's and President's lists. Beyond the normal student teaching required by most education departments, many classroom experiences were required, including the University Lab School where Vanessa worked in the library.
Vanessa is K-8 certified in Arizona, has attended many workshops, including EXLL literacy, Tribes Learning Community, Randy Sprick's Safe and Civil Schools/CHAMPS, etc.
She taught for two years in rural Wyoming and one year in Tucson and has taught first, second, third, fourth, and sixth grades. |
Julie Estes - Kindergarten Teacher

Julie is a native Arizonan and has lived in the white mountains since 1995. She graduated from ASU with a BA in Religious studies and is currently working for certification for Early Childhood Education.
She is a certified (160 hours) catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and has worked with children ages 3-9 since 1999.
Julie has most recently worked at Blue Ridge Jr. High as an Instructional Assistant for children with learning disabilities.
She is a mother of three children, an avid reader, enjoys traveling, adventures and the occasional hike. |
Paula Sedillo - Pre-Kindergaten Teacher "I have had 20 years of classroom experience and have had the opportunity to work with the best teachers Blue Ridge (School District) had to offer. Paula began with Blue Ridge School District as a teacher's Assistant in the Special Education department at the Jr. High and High School. From there, she worked in the high school pre-school program and ended up as a kindergarten Assistant for Rindy Reinhold and Becky Biada-Dodd.
Paula is a 7th generation Arizonan, was raised in Mexico until she was eight years old, and moved back to Arizona. She is fluent in Spanish. She married her high school sweetheart and raised two sons who now live in California and Spain. |
Anne Boss - Seasons and Saints Teacher (Music and Art)

Anne is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota, is a certified Montessori teacher and has taught at two Montessori school sin Minnesota. She has studied early childhood education, speech development and Waldorf education. Waldorf education emphasizes art and music in child development.
For two years, Anne and her husband George, taught for the Peace Corps in Serowe, Botswana, where she taught students from 2nd through 4th grades. She also taught 2nd grade on the Navajo Reservation. | |
